The past couple of years I’ve tried to make a list on (or near) my birthday of stuff I wanted to accomplish before the next one. It started with a simple 30 pounds by my 30th birthday (which I blew out of the water), but then the measurement morphed into goals.
I try and update monthly (not always succeeding) with how I’m doing. I’m not a superhuman, so inevitably some of the goals get modified or even go unaccomplished, but the exercise holds me accountable to keep growing up instead of just getting older.
Some of the goals probably seem really strange to those just reading down the list or some may seem obvious, but have a backstory. With that in mind, I’ve decided to start a blog series on the stories BEHIND 32 by 33. Enjoy.
